Reed Willis is a highly experienced attorney of Beus Gilbert McGroder, a premier boutique law firm concentrating on High Stakes Litigation, Real Estate and Zoning Law, and Plaintiffs Catastrophic Injury & Wrongful Death. Mr. Willis is a member of the firm’s Plaintiffs Commercial Litigation practice. He represents companies in patent disputes, intellectual property litigation, licensing disputes and unfair competition matters. He has successfully enforced patents, trade secrets, trademarks and copyrights against businesses and negotiated favorable settlement agreements on behalf of his clients. Mr. Willis is experienced in litigating state and federal unfair competition and antitrust matters frequently as companion claims to intellectual property claims. Mr. Willis has extensive experience evaluating patent damages, analyzing infringement theories and identifying FRAND licensing issues. He advises clients on trademark and branding issues. He has counseled clients on licensing issues surrounding potential patent portfolio acquisitions and has significant experience analyzing the antitrust implications of standard-essential patents. He frequently advises clients on strategic intellectual property issues from procurement to licensing to disputes.
